Summary
Ostler's coat, part of boy's fancy dress. Fawn corded twill wool (Bedford cord) Seamed CF & CB, deep waistband, fastening with metal buttons at CL marked 'Macbeth, Manchester', buttons to either side, bone button below horizontal pocket. Cotton pocket on right side inside small flap fastening with fawn buttons. Buttonholes at side CF for attachment to lower button of each pair on waist sections. High back, points at each side of CB with metal buttons. Canvas lining all round waist with band of stripe cotton at top. Legs in two sections, cut tight to calf with four fawn coloured buttons and buttonholes at each side. Black button on back of each leg; fastening backed with fawn linen.
