Summary
Child's suit. Bottle green velvet. 1) Jacket; body lined with black cotton, sleeves lined with white. Square turn down collar. Body in three sections, seamed, fastening at front with ribbon bow at base of neck and four buttons, concealed buttonholes, horizontal opening for breast pocket. 5cm wide belt slotting through carrier, gilt buckle at CF. Gathered sleeves in one section, buttoned cuff below vent. Label at back hem stamped "FLORET QUI LABORAT" and code number. Seperate dickey, white wool lined with white cotton, seamed across right shoulder and fastened at left with buttons and loops, fastenining with tape loop at SF and SB. 2) Trouser; lined with white cotton, waistline rising in M shape at back, four metal buttons stamped "SUSPENDER" at front and tow at back. Legs in two pieces, seamed, opening at crotch CF, closed with three metal buttons under placket; pocket opening in right side seam. Label at back hip stamped as jacket.
