Black velvet and feathers, lined with black plain weave silk. Brimless shape, velvet draped over hemispherical wire framework. Centre front trimmed with tinsel and sequin motif in 4 wing shapes, black and peacock blue and spray of osprey feathers, 3 black ostrich feathers at back. Black satin bow at centre back, trimmings held on with 3 small brooches covered with facetted black glass.
