Summary

Grey chip plait, fancy grey straw braid in floral motifs. Lined with white plain weave silk. Straw braid brim. Crown and brim almost covered by 2 grey ostrich feathers attached round crown base, large compound bow of grey corded silk ribbon at left back and wired bow of looped narrow black velvet ribbon at front with cluster of facetted glass stones in centre. Brim underside wired, edged with grey velvet ribbon and trimmed with 2 lines of very narrow black satin ribbon. Grey net facing.
