Wholestraw plait. Lined with white plain weave silk. Brim sewn on separately and turned down. Black velvet band, loosely folded horizontally, draped across base of crown at back, twisted round at right and extending over top and side front crown, crossing brim to underside at left. 6 large flat fabric roses and foliage at front. Iniside headband of stiffened net and wire bound velvet.
