Pale dull pink plain weave rayon. Lined with white silk. Interlined with stiffening. Back and right side held in 2 irregular folds. Bow of piping covered by wound fabric at centre right. Brim almost flat, self-bound and wired at outer edge, worked with 10 lines of topstitching.
