Summary
Yellow-green and grey-green satin and beige crepe, with embroidered applique and gold thread embroidery, and navy-blue silk. High rounded crown, satin and crepe patchwork, with applique at back and front of cut-work embroidery machine-stitched in gilt thread and shades of green, blue and beige silk to resemble bunches of grapes with leaves, worked in satin stitch. Navy-blue corded silk band with bow to right of centre back and parallel rows of gilt machine stitching. Corded silk brim narrow at front and very narrow at back, widest at right side with box pleat over grey-green and yellow-green satin applique. Similar applique on other side without pleat. Parallel scalloped lines of gilt stitching all round brim. Crown lined with navy-blue silk, stamped with fountain in centre.
