2 pairs of stockings. White cotton and pink silk. Cotton to below knee at toe, the rest silk; hem at top, seamed down back of leg and each side of foot, shaped for leg and foot; silk clocks each side of leg; one pair inscribed "A.D. Turton / No. 2 / 1853"; the other similary inscribed but with "No. 1" on one stocking, "No 3"on the other.
