Summary

Dark brown netted silk cord and dark brown plaited and stiffened silk ribbon braid. Net top rising in centre to slight point trimmed with compound bow of wide satin ribbon. Sides netted in 1 piece with top. Band of plaited braid round lower edge, similar band round top edge and round middle, caught to hat round lower edge only and otherwise upstanding. Front parts backed with ruched satin ribbon (partially gone).
