Summary
Bright green silk and silver thread, hand knitted in stocking stitch on four needles, fancy stitch to give impression of seam stitch down back shaped down back of leg, and at inner and outer ankle and along both sides of foot and toe; foot shaping outlined in garter stitch, all shaping outlined with zigzag decoration in silver; band of silver decoration near top; silver palmette design forming clock above ankle shaping each side; "I B" worked at top in white silk in cross stitch. 20 stitches per inch on the leg; 12 per inch on the sole and toe.
