Summary

Indigo plain weave woollen cloth printed with narrow double vertical stripe of yellow-green and off-white. Unlined. Turndown collar set at right angles to lapel. Square patch pocket on each hip and one at top left embroidered with crest and motto "Arduus ad Solem". Shoulders slightly padded, gilt buttons at outer wrist. Front fastening with 3 buttons. Sleeves lined with striped twilled cotton. An example of the old style Manchester University blazer.
