Petticoat or crinoline. Woven horsehair. In four straight sections, seams piped linen, open down CF; pleated, more fully at back, to curved linen waistband, piped at top and bottom edges, fastening CF waist with linen tape ties; all edges faced and piped with linen; straight horsehair band applied at hem, piped at upper edge, two more bands above.
