White cotton (yellowed); front section slightly flared, side sections flared towards back, straight back section; gathered to shaped yoke fastening at back with three linen buttons; large pocket in right side back section; drawstrings half way down back section; hem trimmed with two frills with embroidered borders below insertion of similar embroidery between rows of tucks, some added by hand; marked in ink: "F.R. Draper / 1899".
