Wedding petticoat, cream silk (shantung). Scooped out round neck, lower at front; neck, armhole and hem trimmed with row of faggoting in cream silk; front yoke in one section, gathered under bust and trimmed with double floral motif embroidered in cream silk over transfer (stem and satin stitch) at centre; back yoke in one unshaped section; skirt in two flared sections rising to point at CF and back; side and shoulder seams French, yoke seams overcast.
