Summary

Public: Puree bowl and stand, cream earthenware, painted and printed overglaze with a floral spray in grey, blue, yellow and red, within a blue and grey banded border. Private: Circular bowl with small footring, everted rim and two flattened horizontal handles to sides of rim, each moulded with leafy edges. Printed in well with outline of a floral spray in grey, filled in by hand in blue, yellow and red. Banded border to interior sides consisting of single wide band of blue surmounted by five narrow lines of grey. Single narrow blue band to footring. Bowl stand has sloping rim and shallow recessed well printed with same floral spray filled in by hand. Banded border to rim, of wide blue encircled by five narrow grey lines.
