Summary

Woven wall hanging, comprising cream and brown woollen warp and cream and orange weft, giving broad vertical columns in varying shades and textures of brown and cream. Heavy woollen threads woven into weft threads in dark brown, bright green and blue-green, forming undulating zigzag horizontal bands, the dip of each band filled in with simple horizontal stitching in contrasting colour. Warp threads form tied fringes to top and bottom of hanging.
