Black silk jersey evening jacket (bridge coat) with Chinese embroidery of floral sprigs in coloured silks in chain stitich decorating the edges as spot motifs in a broad band at the hem and sleeve cuffs and in a narrow band at the fronts; no fastening; trumpet sleeves; unlabelled; unlined. belonged to Anne Buck OBE, former Keeper of Platt Hall (1947 - 71)
