Summary
Glazed cotton chintz, printed with pattern of overlapping scales with scallop shell motif at tip of each scale. Scale panels filled with alternating rows of repeated patterns, comprising classical ewer beside spray of corn, and two doves on a bird bath beneath grassy spray. Pattern printed in cream and pale brown against soft purple ground.
