Summary

Public: Lidded jam pot, cream earthenware, decorated with black enamel bands over a matt cream glaze. Private: Tall barrel shaped jam pot, with four shallow horizontal flutes around base and wide flattened cover with shaped cylindrical finial. Decorated with a cream matt glaze over which is painted a pattern of five narrow black enamelled bands around shoulder, and one wide band surmounted by two narrow bands around base. Cover decorated with five narrow black bands encircling black painted finial, single narrow band towards rim.
