Summary

Standing subject has dark coloured costume, with silk centre panel insert in corset, with large metal buttons running from the neck to end of corset. Sleeves are ruffled material, with silk overlay detailing at mid-forearms. Cuffs are contrasting short pleated lace, as also seen at collar. Rectangular brooch is worn at collar.
