The woman on the right is seated on an elaborate carved wooden chair with a small dog on her lap and the woman on the left is holding a tennis racket. All of the women wear their hair in a chignon and are wearing wool or cotton dresses with fitted bodices with centre front buttons, standing collar and full length fitted sleeves. They are all wearing gathered skirts and their bodices are pleated at the centre front.
