Summary

A view across the river Adur in Shoreham, Sussex. There is a grassy shore in the foreground with a bank of flowers and a wooden fence tailing off to the right. A beached rowing boat is to the left, beyond which several boats and grazing cattle can be seen at the water's edge. A long low wooden bridge - old Shoreham bridge - stretches across the water to the right, and there is a gentle rolling landscape in the distance. The tall building on the skyline is Lancing College Chapel.
