Summary

Coat : hunting pink (scarlet) wool facecloth with Tattersall and red flannel lining. SB, fastening with 4 plain brass buttons (2 smaller matching buttons at cuffs). V neckline with turn down collar and high revers; collar can be fastened over with a red cloth gorget and 3 brass buttons. Fronts each in 2 sections with a dart and seam at waist. Lined red Tattersall check flannel with slit pocket to right front edged in red corded silk and lined in flannel. Front skirts lined red flannel with slit pockets either side, again edged in red corded silk. Back skirts lined in white waterproof oil cloth. Back in 4 shaped sections to waist with CB seam and 2 CB sections continuing as skirt with central pleat. 2 brass buttons at waist. Sleeves in 2 sections with 2 brass buttons at cuffs. Red corded silk hanging tag at neck and metal loop for attaching hat. Label to breast pocket. Waistcoat : yellow facecloth, lined Tattersall check flannel. SB, fastening with 6 imitation pearl buttons to V neck without collar. Fronts each in 1 section with pointed waistline. Slit pocket and flapped pocket each side. Backs and belt lined yellow cotton; belt fastening with buckle marked "Paris". No label. Breeches : white whipcord. Boots : black leather with brown tops. Hat : black silk hat with red cord. Gloves : white cotton string, knitted. Shirt : white flannel. Stock : white cotton.
