Full length outdoor portrait of man next to bicycle, with plants in background. Subject is wearing a light coloured wool jacket and breeches, and a white shirt with pointed collar. The jacket has two buttons at the sleeve cuffs, two hip pockets, and buttons down the centre. The breeches have a cuff around the knee with diamond pattern. Also wearing leather shoes and leather gaiters with buttons down the side, black gloves, and a flat cap. Written in ink on back "Died 18th June 1898 / irish man in (illegible) in / the '90s"
