Summary

Pale blue ribbed/corded silk, figured with rows of tiny floral sprigs. Coat: s.b. fastening with 11 self fabric covered buttons. 11 matching buttonholes, all uncut. Coat fastens with a single brass hook and eye at neck (later addition). matching smaller buttons at cuffs (3), pockets (3) and back pleats. Pockets cut very deep in skirt tails, with pointed flaps. Tiny upstanding collar. Fronts and side backs faced cream silk. Lined unbleached linen. Breeches: matching fabric; front fall opening with self fabric covered buttons, 5 matching buttons at knees.
