Summary

Scarlet cloth and white linen, slightly glazed. Collar 6.9 cm wide, tapering to neck seam at front; fronts(cloth) curving back slightly at base, fastening with eight buttons on the right, the lowest but one set 4.1 cm further to the right than the others; linen sides extending to open at base fastening with two thread buttons; back in two sections with additional narrow sections under each arm; some moth damage. Cunnington, Dr C W; dates at c.1820, as an under-waistcoat
