Summary

Pear-shaped milk jug tapering to tall cylindrical neck with sparrow beak lip and turned rim. Three applied feet in the form of a paw surmounted by a lion's mask, applied strap loop handle with flattened splayed lower terminal. Finely marbled blue, dark brown, pale brown and white earthenware body, giving random pattern of predominantly blue streaks, blue and brown bleeding into lead glaze.
