Summary

Globular teapot on narrow spreading foot, with short cylindrical neck, short tapering spout and loop handle with outer spur at lower terminal. Domed circular cover with flattened rim and button finial, hole pierced to one side. Marbled brown and white earthenware body, marbled clays thrown to give spiralling streaks of brown on white ground, brown bleeding into the glaze. This overlaid with splashes of underglaze cobalt blue, in soft streaks around sides.
