Summary

Cylindrical mug with turned horizontal bands to sides and strap loop handle with slight spurs at thumbrest and upper terminal. Made of cream coloured earthenware decorated in metallic purple lustre with six narrow horizontal bands around sides, surmounted by deep fruiting leafy border at rim, narrow lustre band inside rim. Plain purple lustre to handle, almost copper-coloured. Crazed yellowish creamware glaze.
