Summary

Public: Shaped oval teapot with galleried rim and sliding cover, white felspathic stoneware, with relief-moulded borders and panels including American eagle and head of Liberty, picked out in blue enamel over a smear glaze. Private: Commode-shaped oval teapot with straight sides, concave neck and galleried rim in the form of interlinking circles and daisies. Rounded square-angled strap handle with spurs at lower terminal and rounded corners, tapering spout with slender relief-moulded leaves down either side against granulated ground. Body relief-moulded/domed strainer.
