Coat: lined cream silk over cream linen; high round neck; fastening down front from neck to 50cm of hem with hooks and eyes; twenty ornamental, silk-covered buttons, embroidered, down whole length of front; full skirted from waist, with join across back panels; skirt slit at centre back, and at side seams with concealed pleat each side of slit, held by silk cord across opening; pleat in each side of skirt at back; three-quarter length sleeve with turn-back cuff; pocket, linen, each side of skirt front, with flap; embroidered borders down front opening, back slit and inside front pleat of side opening, round pocket, pocket flap and cuff; three buttons on cuff (one missing from left), three beneath pocket, and one above each side slit; silk loop inside on left at waist. waistcoat: cream silk back to waist, skirt of blue silk; linen lining; high round neck; fastening to neck with hooks and eyes; 10 ornamental buttons down front (11th missing); shaped skirt, slit at sides and centre back; pocket, linen, each side of front, with flap; slit back with two ties and two additional tapes sewn each side of back; embroidered borders down front opening, round pockets and on pocket flap. Breeches: lined linen; shaped band at waist, widening in front, buttoning centre front with three silk-covered buttons; short front with continuous fastening, two bone buttons, two pockets, linen, beneath front flap which covers entire front, fastening on to five silk-covered butttons (one missing) on band; 6 bone buttons at top of band (1 missing) and two holes each side of back seam; legs opening at outside at knee, fastening with four silk-covered, embroidered buttons and embroidered band, embroidered down opening.
