Summary
Deep rose-pink satin figured waistcoat with cut and uncut velvet,in all-over design of cut velvet leaves and stems on uncut velvet ground with satin flowers; lining and back natural linen double-breasted,with narrow overlap; elevan buttons (missing) attached with clips on wrong side,on right side,and ten (missing) on left; v-neck with turn-down collar,and revers slightly rounded at corners;straight waistline; back in two sections; two more holes for buttons,and three more buttonholes,partly cut but not worked,under left rever; three holes for buttons and two buttonholes on right. Described by Dr C W Cunnington as a "countrified" style.
