Summary

A view of a farmhouse encircled by a low fence with a meadow extending towards the foreground and outer edges of the image. The cluster of buildings consists of a farmhouse and other farm buildings, the building towards the foreground has a thatched-roof. There is a large tree to the right of the picture, as well as one behind the farmhouse and one to the back-right of the picture. The painting has been completed in naturalistic colours with the farmhouse in brick-red and browns, and the meadow in front has an abundance of yellow buttercups and dandelions. The style of painting is precise and features fine detail and accuracy of colour.
