Summary

Lined cream linen, back pleated into band with central slit, two holes for lacing on each side; band deeper in front, fastening at centre with three buttons (replacements) and concealed, two button fastening below; two pockets; one beneath the other on each side, lower one fastening at outer side with one button; legs fastening with four embroidered buttons and band with button hole at one end. Inscribed '57' and stamped 'Theo Riker. Munchen...'. Said to have been worn by John Wilmot in portrait at Dorrington Hall.
