Peak Farm
William Harold S. Bunce 1920 - 1995
Summary
A landscape painting of farm buildings in Derbyshire with a road running on the left handside of the farm to a gate in the centre foreground. Thick black lines outline the houses and stones in the wall in the foreground of the image. Some aspects are painted very clearly, such as the buildings, and others are sketchier, like the trees behind. The painting is muted overall, with some interesting uses of colour for the blue water in the road and the orange tiles on the shed.
