Barlow Hall

Summary

Near Manchester. The Barlows were seated at this Hall as early as the 20th Richard II (1396-97). The family lived here in 1720. In 1785 the Hall first passed into other hands. It is now residence of Mr. W. Cunliffe Brooks, M.P. In the interior are some fine rooms, with some good carved-oak furniture.
