Summary
Circular, discus shaped sculpture of wheel thrown and carved earthenware, carved and handpainted in 18 graduated shades of grey slip (liquid clay). The tones of grey create optical illusions, with the paler shades appearing to project and the darker shades appearing to be iindented.
