orange-brown wool tweed with spaced blue check; plus fours with waistband lined with white cotton twill, 4 loops on outside belt; buttons for braces; fly front with 6 composition buttons; 2 pleats each side; dart at back; 2 back pockets; side seams; wide legs pleated to band below knee and closed with metal buckles stamped "Sword Make"; printed label cb waist "J P Wells, 19 Madox Street, London W".
