Summary

Circular dessert plate with deep well, no footring and undulating 6-lobed rim. Rim relief-moulded with six heart-shaped leafy cartouches, separating panels of alternating star and dot diamond diaper grounds. Transfer-printed in overglaze lilac purple in well, with royal coat of arms, comprising shield enclosed within scroll inscribed 'HONI SOIT QUI MAL Y PENSE' surmounted by helmet, crown, crowned lion and mantling, flanked by lion and unicorn, with scroll below inscribed 'DIEU / ET MON / DROIT'.
