Summary
Bronze bust of Donald Rayner, who was Secretary of the Manchester Academy of Fine Arts from 1956 until 1977. The bust is based upon an earlier portrait of Donald Rayner by the artist and was commissioned by the Academy after his death. He is facing forwards, wearing a jacket and shirt and tie and has a receding hairline. The bust is on a stone base with metal plaque bearing inscription.
