Public: Sugar bowl and lid, hard paste porcelain, underglaze and enamel colours with trees, plants, birds, animals and figures. Painted in underglaze blue and in red, green, yellow and grey enamels and gilt. Private: Hard paste porcelain, oval with domed lid and spherical knop moulded with stylized leaves. Squat body with thick, everted footring. Painted in underglaze blue and in red, green, yellow and grey enamels and gilt with trees and plants, exotic birds and animals and small Chinese figures. Elaborately interlaced scrollwork border around rims of box and cover.
