Summary
Public: Tankard and cover, hard paste porcelain, floral decoration, coat of arms on silver cover Private: Tankard and lid, hard paste, cream coloured porcelain with silver mounts, cylindrical shape with inverted lip, scroll handle and three applied floral sprays, flat base. Sprays painted in green, yellow, pink, orange and mauve enamel colours. Deep border of heavy C - scrolls, alternating with crosses, in gilt around the rim. Plain gilt band around the base. Domed cover with scroll thumbpiece, engraved with an unidentified coat of arms charged with "ferde moline on a chief two squirrels sejant confronting a harp with a crest, out of a helm, a squirrel sejant".
