Summary

Loden-style overcoat with wide turndown collar and attatched cape. Raglan sleeves with overstitched outside seam and buckle-ties at wrists. Cape attatched CF and collar, otherwise loose with straps under the arm. CF opening fastening with 5 large green circularplastic buttons, concealed under a flap. Mock leather covered buttons at each 4 points of the cape. Vertical side pockets. Seams at sides and CB, with deep inverted pleat CB, buttoning with four small buttons and opening to 40 cm below. Separate self fabric belt with side loops. Unlined. Purchased by donor from the New Bond Street Ted Lapidus boutique in its first season in 1976. Worn by Mr C Z Cook.
