Use our materials to decorate your own plant pot and our Pride in Ageing volunteers David and Philip will help you to pot your own nasturtium seed to grow at home. All materials will be provided.
Drawing from nature with Nikita Gill

Using the Derek Jarman Pocket Park and gallery collection as inspiration, you can create your own drawings using pencil and pastels.
All materials provided.
About the artist:
Nikita is Barbadian-Kittitian and is a descendant of the Leeward Islands people. She loves nature and the ocean and is an artist, a curator and plays Mas with WeR1 Mas Band. Nikita explores and experiments with different artistic methods to interpret Carnival and encourage unearthing missing stories in contemporary Afro-Caribbean and British culture.
Photographing nature with Mindy Meleyal

Using the Derek Jarman Pocket Park flora and fauna as inspiration Mindy will lead a session to photograph from nature using your own smart phone. The group will experiment with composition using magnifiers and view finders and edit their images using Snap Seed.Participants will need to bring their own smart phone and download the free Snap Seed app.
