Badges (4): 1. brass oval with centre monogram and silver leaf decoration; 2. brass crown with red plush; 3. brass crown with red plus, pin at back; 4. silver Prince of Wles feathers with "Royal Cheshire" below. Hat : Black beaver double cock high above crown; black silk double cockades at side. Lined red silk with cream leather band; gold lace and army accoutrement; wrapped in crimson, fawn and white printed cotton hankerchief. In black japanned hat-box with hessian cover. Belt : gilt metal thread woven with red stripe. Sash : crimson machine-knitted silk with fringed ends.
