Summary
Public: Ovoid cylindrical vase made of white earthenware, decorated with three bull moose amongst trees in silver lustre on a blue-green glaze. Private: Ovoid cylindrical vase, tapered to foot, high flat shoulder with wide short flared neck, decorated with blue-green glaze. Painted silver lustre decoration over the glaze of three bull moose with large antlers, in forest setting surrounded by small clumps of grass and other plants. Tall single tree between each moose, each with slender trunk and high spreading branches, creating leafy canopy round shoulder. Thick border of silver oak leaf pattern round base, plain neck with gold silver lustre rim and interior. Background blue-green glaze has reacted with lustre to give pinky red lustrous ground to decoration. shape : 2671 range : Lancastrian
