Summary
Public: Tapered cylindrical vase, white earthenware, decorated with two eagles rampant in silver lustre on a peach coloured glaze. Private: Cylindrical vase, tapering from high flat shoulder to narrow flared foot, slightly flared narrow neck. Decorated with a peach glaze, very pale yellow at neck, pink blush round shoulder. Body painted with two tall eagles rampant surrounded by scrolling tendrils, all in silver lustre, slightly iridescent in patches. Lustre has fired away completely in small patches on wings of one eagle, revealing white body beneath. Plain silver bands at foot and round base of neck, neck divided into eight panels filled with alternating plant emblems in lustre.
