Summary
Public: Pear-shaped vase, white earthenware, decorated with feathery foliage and flowers, in silver and copper lustre over a lustrous blue-green glaze. Private: Bulbous pear-shaped vase on straight footring, tapering to straight neck. Decorated with a green and blue glaze, turned a silvery blue-grey lustre over body, original olive-green colour still visible round neck rim, blue-green still visible round footring. Body painted with interlacing feathery foliage in silver lustre, stems of each frond forming a wavy line round belly near base. Ten tulip-like flowers in copper lustre with silver outlines positioned at irregular intervals within foliage, five violets also in copper lustre with silver outlines round neck. Iridescent lustre neck rim and interior, pale greyish silver band round lower body by foot.
