Summary
Public: Bowl, white earthenware, decorated with small flowers in pale yellow glaze, surrounded by fine foliage in silver lustre over copper red. Private: Finely potted circular bowl with straight sides curving in sharply to flat base with tapered footring. Decorated with a pale yellow base glaze and an orange-red glaze over the top, turning pink in the well. Interior painted in dull silver lustre with feathery foliage radiating outwards and up the sides from small central circle, with twenty small stylised flowers in three rows round the sides, reserved in pale yellow and outlined in silver. Exterior decorated in a dark red-brown glaze blending into dark blue at foot, with a dull silver lustre border of diaper pattern at rim.
