Summary

Public: Miniature baluster vase, white earthenware, decorated with four fish swimming amongst weeds, in silver and copper lustre over a deep cobalt blue glaze. Private: Miniature baluster vase tapering to flared foot, with short, narrow neck. Decorated in a deep dark cobalt blue and painted round shoulder with four fish in silver lustre, swimming amongst four slender undulating weeds, in silver and copper lustre. Weeds rise from silver and copper bands round foot, to shoulder where they meet to form a striped copper and silver neck. Copper bubbles round shoulder and copper tufted plants between weeds at foot.
